Ivanti Service Manager Product & Technical Support End of Life

This document provides information about the End of Life policy for Ivanti Service Management products and the HEAT branded versions of the same product lines (now part of the Ivanti family). The Ivanti Product Support Policy applies to the legacy products released under the Frontrange and HEAT brand names.

Ivanti products are continuously evolving based on market market direction as well as customer requirements.  As new products or versions are released, previous versions are supported and maintained for a certain amount of time, then retired.

The information contained herein is accurate as of the date of publication.  Updates and revisions may be posted periodically and without notice.

Product support for older Ivanti products continues according to this schedule:

NOTE: This information is relevant to on-premises deployments only.  Customers on a cloud deployment of Ivanti Service Manager are always on the latest release.

  • Release Date: Date that a given version of the product was released.  For all versions within a given year, those are consolidated into a single line item with all versions aligning to the Release Date of the last version for that year (e.g. 2019.x includes 2019.1, 2019.2, 2019.3, 2019.4)
  • Product Support Ends: Release Date plus 12 months.  No new features for this version of the product.
  • Technical Support Ends: This is the date where Telephone and Web-Based Case support ends.  Users can still access the Ivanti Community website to download previously released product versions, access technical white papers, the knowledge base, and participate in public discussion forums.
